About me

Adam Mohad, known as Adam the 9th, is an Iraqi dark surrealist painter with a PhD in English Literature. Moving beyond academia and poetry, he began translating poetic language into visual form—seeing verses as images and building entire surreal worlds from imagination. Deeply influenced by Zdzisław Beksiński, his work explores haunting, dreamlike landscapes while carving a distinct path of its own.
